FOUNTAIN OF FAILURE

An intricate, destroyed fountain sits before you. Its rightmost spout is gushing an unfettered plume of water. The basin is overflowed, and an amount of the fountain's water has accumulated near its base. The base of the fountain is decorated with meticulously chiseled ornaments and engravings, but this appears to be the only part that can still speak for the structure's former glory. The walls here give way to a looming cave that sprawls further than the eyes can percieve. There are multiple rocky plateaus in the distance, towering from the darkness below. The furthest one seems to house some sort of settlement. Only the largest buildings, and two oddly-shaped rock formations are visible from such a distance. There are no visible exits, apart from the way you came.

The walls of the labyrinth had once shifted here.
